Retirement Incentives: Post Prop 30/Pension Reform

As of 1/1/13, due to the Pension Reform Act, districts will only be able to design and implement early retirement incentive plans as 403(b) Defined Contribution plans. Fortunately, PARS has been designing early retirement plans as 403(b) Defined Contribution plans for educational agencies for over 6 years.

Even with the good news of the passage of Prop 30, many districts still have to make cuts due to flat-funding. If you’re considering an early retirement incentive, contact PARS to help your district design a customized plan.
