PARS has had a significant year for its Supplementary Retirement Plan (SRP) program, with over 30 California schools and community college districts implementing plans in 2026.
The result of this collaborative process? Over 2,700 employees decided to enroll in their district’s respective SRP program, which will set-up these individuals with meaningful retirement income (in addition to their CalSTRS/CalPERS pension) as they transition into the next phase of their lives.
This demand reflects that California’s education agencies are hungry for strategies that can help address workforce challenges, generate both short- and long-term savings, and provide eligible employees with a meaningful incentive as they transition into retirement.
Behind each SRP analysis and implementation is a collaborative effort across PARS. That teamwork is central to the company’s culture and approach to client service.
“We’re grateful for the confidence these public agencies continue to place in us. Our goal has always been to listen first to understand what our clients are wanting to accomplish and then work together to find a solution that supports their long-term success.”
